These are likely hotter rounds than normally shot in CAS but would get your friend started. MidwayUSA shows Blazer 158 grain ammo available for ~$1/round. watab kid Posted April 16, 2022 Share Posted April 16, 2022 i bought a couple boxes of remington cast bullet low velocity from cabellas a while back , i dont shoot them at matches but they worked fine for practice , i cant see why they wouldnt be acceptable , i had to come back and add that its been a while since i got this - i apoligize for not reading the OP more closely , i dont know where to get this ammo save if cabellas still has it in stock , ----i load so im not constrained by this dilemma but i sympathize with anyone that does , ive always been one to avoid anything i did not load myself so i only have borrowed someone elses handloads once - as a backup but i did not shoot them and returned them , ill not recommend anyone to shoot someone elses loads , yet in this game we all load so low id not expect a problem if he did , Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
