Subdeacon Joe
After six men of USS Amberjack (SS-522) earned ther Submarine Dolphin insignia in 1960, the rest of the crew threw them over the side as was tradition. A passing destroyer unfamiliar with the custom signaled "WHAT HAPPENED". Amberjack responded "UNSHINED SHOES". #SubSunday

Alpo
That story reminded me of the scene in the Last Crusade. Indy and the professor are in the dirigible. Indy, wearing a purser's uniform, grabs the Nazi and throws him out the window to the ground. All the passengers stare in shock, and Indy says, "NO TICKET!" All the passengers immediately show him that they have tickets.
Pat Riot
As soon as I saw “Tradition” I thought of the US Navy. Then I saw it was from Subdeacon Joe and knew it would be. Thank you Joe…and that’s pretty darn funny.
