Isaias??

Recommended Posts

I have always felt the naming of storms using people’s names to be silly.
Especially now with their PC BS names.

I would think naming them by year month and sequence would be more palatable.

Example:

Storm 20-8-1

The first storm of August in 2020.

This would probably confuse people and depersonalize the damage so mopers couldn’t wallow in self pity and blame.

Hurricane I

And then

Hurricane J

That is enough nomenclature for me.

Well, it's looking like this dude is a bust.  Good for us.

Back when my dad was Hurricane Hunter pilot in the early 50s, they used the phonetic alphabet to name them. Thus, they were Hurricane Able, Baker, Charlie etc.

Don’t count your chickens. I’ve made that mistake before. Fingers crossed especially for the folks up the coast.
