Loophole LaRue, SASS #51438
In another nail-biter with some great defensive plays, it was Boston over the Astros, 8-6! The series is now 3-1 in Boston's favor. Game 5 tonight. LL

I don't recall seeing two teams so evenly matched. Wonderful series.
Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984
Over the course of 126 seasons (from 1892 through 2017), 105 teams have won 100 or more games in a single Major League Baseball season. Having two of those teams in the Championship series is special.
Wild Will Bartell
Loophole, As I alluded to in another thread, this seems to be the year for the Sox. While as a Yankees fan I cannot share your enthusiasm, I will say that your team has it all this year; indeed a special team. Looking forward to the Series, regardless of which teams are in it. I was thinking the opposite. When the Championship series are as good as these two are, the World Series tends to be a let down.

But the beauty of the WS is that regardless of the hype, driven by the networks and the talking heads, the game is the game, and anything can happen. Bottom line - the cream rises to the top. I thought both series were pretty interesting, and at times fairly exciting.
