Matthew Duncan
What is the 'normal' turn-out for you matches? Hat, shirt, pants, suspenders, boots and Spurs. In colder weather and vest and duster.

Jabez Cowboy,SASS # 50129
The club closest to me (My home club) caps our two day shoots at 50 shooters, as we have a small range ... Several other clubs cap the shoots at 125 shooters ... Our Monday night shoots (Minnie matches)we get about 15 - 20 ... I have shot at matches that numbered from 46 to 829 shooters in the past year ... Jabez Cowboy

Kirk James
In AZ it seems Cowboy Action Shooters numbers vary due to distances to matches. Many small towns are 100+ miles from the major population centers. In some cases people are willing to travel for certain stage writers. We live 2 hours from Payson and Prescott. We enjoy their stages and it is worth the drive. We would like to support the other clubs but we can only shoot so many matches a year. We try to make North Phoenix as much as possible. We wish more shooters would travel.
Painted Mohawk SASS 77785
FYI...In Australia we have only approx 800 Cowboy shooters, our attendances on average are probably the best of any discipline here. When the Regional & Nationals were shot as one there would always be between 180 -250..now as separate shoots the Nats have 80-100, Regional 140-160.My home club always have 35-45 for a monthly. Our state titles [ Queensland ] last w'end had 120.A lot of clubs across Australia have around 20 each month. As well as there registered number here about half of the 800 have signed up with SASS..further a considerable amount have made trips to the USA.Aussies love there Cowboy action !!!!At a rough guess I'd say about 50-60 clubs.
