He has just been appointed as the Canadian Ambassador to Ireland. the article said that he has a strong Irish/Canadian connection. Nice reward for eliminating a terrorist scumbag. The Sgt at Arms position is more ceremonial than actual security and they did have armed officers in the building. I suspect they have more now.
