I wonder if we will see the following headline in a couple of days:

"Mayor DeBlasio arrested by NYPD for trespassing at funeral of fallen officers"

That would serve him right!!

De Bl-ahole doesn't really care. Like a few others we all know and love, his arrogance makes him immune to what people who disagree with him say or think. He will not resign. He will continue to spout the same crap he always has. It got him elected. The people of New York got what they wanted. If that offends some, then they should have done more to defeat him at the polls.

Agree Widder. Worse than pulling on Santa's beard, stepping on Superman's cape, grabbing the Lone Ranger's mask....and almost as bad as doing anything that makes momma mad. Not real smart.

He's smart, has no fear, has the entire democratic machine behind him, will never resign, he's on his way to a better job.

Hes not to be trusted and will change his remarks and views as often and quick as needed.

OMG! His total lack of concern for others. His perpetual lies and misrepresentations. His complete ineptitude.

I just realized - He's a front runner for the next Democratic party Presidential candidate.

40,000 cops have a lot of power in a municipal system. We only have a 105, so I don't imagine us turning our backs on our mayor would be an ok idea.

I always say that people elect these idiots. Why, I donno. But they do, and then they wonder why

things turn crappy for them. DUH?

The voter turnout in his election was 24% - TWENTY-FOUR percent of the Registered Voters!!! Only about 15-18% of the total population even chose to cast a vote!

When I ask the folks why they did not vote, I often get the answer that "all politicians are the same". Absolute stereotypical garbage. Next time someone says that to me I'll use this moron's example as well as a few others.

Hundreds of thousands of our best have given their lives to protect our rights, chief among them to elect our representatives. Until we hold them accountable and do so, we have no one to blame but ourselves.

Sadly Harv, I'm quite sure that you are preaching to the choir!!

I have never missed an opportunity to exercise the franchise. I am one of those who was 18 yrs. old when we were given the right to vote. My father told me to never waste that chance.

Agreed, Blackwater!

As the choir, I think we have to raise our voices to be heard a bit more than we may have in the past, with respect, of course.

I no longer serve in uniform, but now consider it my duty to engage in conversation like this with folks who I believe have the intelligence and disposition to be motivated to be:

1. more informed,

2. more engaged,

3. and vote!
