One step inside there are a couple fellas standing, and folks in front of them and a line going all the way to the front of the shop. Right about 25 fellas standing chatting and waitin patiently. I start by them and get 'Hey the end of the line is here' stuff like that. I say id rather be at the other end and say hi to several familiar faces all in good fun. See that line isn't for guns or ammo, that line is for fingerprints for Illinois conceal carry. NEW to Illinois for 2014, conceal carry is HERE. Each fella took about four minutes to process, Later when I left, there was still a line almost ezzactly the same length. The shop was open from 10 to 3 so do the math that's a lotta cc permits. SO the bad guys may want to take note, times they are a changin. And a nice used 357 snubnose lasted about one day at a reasonable price. CC apps are projected at 400,000 for this year. I wonder how many bad guys are going to meet their maker?? The folks in that line were aunts and uncles, grandpas and grandmas just regular folks, I thought we should have had a family reunion bring a dish to pass lunch.... Maybe next week??? They just make up any statistic they happen to need. That 90 percent is correct with a plus or minus of 90 percent. See how easy that is????????????? Pollsters are very particular about the questions they ask and the choices you get. They then just let people generalize the answer into meaningless. Say 90%, or whatever, percent of people answer they are OK with an instant background check to make sure that criminals and crazy people don't get a hold a gun. The fight is not over with the passing of CCW but its definitely a step in the right direction. The battle is still Chicago area liberals who still control the votes.
