Just our luck the AL was kicking butt in the ASG until the two years we go to the Series when we sure could have used home field advantage. 5-0 NL after 1, not looking real good so far. Don't blame Wash for starting Verlander. If you had any pitcher in the AL who would you start? As Wash would say, "Dat's the way baseball is." I lived in Detroit, (Tigers AL) and now Seattle (Mariners AL) but it just didn't stick. Love them red birds tho. If the Chicago Black Socks had been honest in 1919, maybe I would feel differently.
