Dawg Hair, SASS #29557
Every time I see these kind of WWII pics I can't help but wonder how many of the soldiers shown are still alive, and what stories they could tell. But then I guess the stories would be the same as those from Vietnam, Korea, the Gulf. The faces are the same, just the locations are different. Thank for posting. Foul Mouth Frank Shutz
That's what I like to see, one well armed gang of socialists murdering another well armed gang of socialists.
Badlands Bob #61228
Must have been a dreary existance. Everything was in black and white.
Utah Bob #35998
That's what I like to see, one well armed gang of socialists murdering another well armed gang of socialists. Actually, Fascists vs Socialists. But in the end they were exactly the same.
Foul Mouth Frank Shutz
Actually, Fascists vs Socialists. But in the end they were exactly the same. Ja, dead. Nothing like ex-allies having a falling out. Sad thing is both are making a come back.
Captain Woodrow Cahill, SASS # 54363
At 1:54 in there's a pic of a German in a trench. To his right is a K98 Mauser, but what is that to his left? It's not an StG-44, and looks a lot like an HK-G3, which wouldn't be seen until the 1950's. Any arms historians have any ideas?

Marshal Dan Troop 70448
Wz.1928 It appears to me that that's what it is. Thats exactly what it is. It was also very dependable in the Soviet winters, and when captured by Russians would use it also. Several captured by American GIs, at first glance, that they were captured BAR.
