My mother had great ideas of me being a musician. HA HA! I fooled her. Truth of the matter is I NEVER FOOLED MOM OR DAD. They were always three steps ahead of me. But the glamor of being a football player won out and I dropped the band and became a soon to be forgotten football player. Maybe I coulda taken over for Benny Goodman when he left the stage. I cudda been a rock star. Well, a rock, anyway.
