I have found over the years . Unique can load just about anything. Unique will do everything good . But nothing really great . It's my #1 go to smokeless powder . #2 Universal #3 H110 I just recently bought some Alliant #2 & #7 to try out . But I load APP FFF 99% of the time Rooster

Hi all . I do must of my own work when I can . I have learned how to do many things by just trying. I have a pair of Uberti Cimarron C.Mason 71 Conversion Open Top 44 Russian pistols . I would love to some times load and shoot 44 special in them . But of corse the cylinder chambers are shot on these older ones . The are only marked for 44 Russian. I had another set of 71-72's that was marked 44 special but the chambers was short . I sent them back to Cimarron and they reamed the chambers out to 44 special. So that got me thinking . Why can't I buy or rent a .430 reamer and cut the chambers a little deeper on these guns myself ? Any gunsmith suggestions for me ?

Percussion caps come and go . They seem to go faster then they come. But you can find the everywhere , You just have to be there and ready to buy when you see them . All the other gimmicks are just that , Gimmicks ! When you find a bunch for sale . You jump on it . I stocked up a long time ago , On Primers and Powder. Can't remember the name of the company. But there is a big dot speed sight for the carbine. My Octagon short rifle I just used a marble sight and a full Buckhorn rear . It sights like a red dot for me .

It definitely won't make me feel at ease but it will help .

I'm going to have to file a clam with State Farm . We will see how it goes .
