  1. THAT is the reason so many American kids play soccer. Too many Moms scared that their widdle baby might get a boo boo playing anything else. And they're afraid that their Widdle Precious might get his feewings hurt if they keep score.
  2. I'd say so, though I'm not nearly as busy as you seem to be. I go to the gym three days a week, take her to breakfast every Saturday, (she still works, Thur, Fri, Sat from 7:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M. This way she gets a good breakfast in the middle of her work week without having to cook). I do think that I'm going to get some part time work before long, still have a Mortgage to pay, other unexpected expenses. But it'll give me more direction than I have now.
  3. If both of them have easy access to it, they can both get charged.
  4. Just to build tension. Will they get it done in time?!?!
  5. Diesel subs were more of a ship that could submerge. They looked and sailed like surface ships. Modern nuclear subs are designed to sail submerged. They only surface when needed. This will give you at least a visual idea:
  6. It may be dependant on the type of fuel. There's AvGas, which I think is like a high octane gasolene, used in piston A/C. There's JP4 that the Army and Air Force use in Jets. It's a mixture of Gasolene and Kerosene, about 60-40. The Navy and Marines use JP5, which is a heavy Kerosene. It's got a higher ignition point making it safer for shipboard use. If my rememberer is right, A/C not prepped for flight are not routinely kept fueled, at least in the Marines, which means Navy too.
  7. Taylors has them. https://www.taylorsfirearms.com/cylinder-pouch-brown.html As does Triple K. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1316258057 I also saw some on Etsy and Amazon, but they didn't look as good. An HKS N Frame speedloader might fit. Maybe with the flaps cut off.
  8. If I tried to be normal, I WOULD lose my friends.
  9. If such laws were to be made, nobody would know about them unless they were posted on Fakebook, Tictac, and such, because that's where these people are looking all the time anyway. (Which is why they keep getting HIT). Smartphone zombies.
  10. We have a sign on our wall saying, "Normal around here is just a setting on the dryer".
  11. If this i the badge Cyrus is referring to, The Space and Missile Badge, it was started in 1982, long after Star Trek. The Space Badge, came out in 2004. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_Operations_Badge
  12. I don't remember a few of them too.
  13. Presuming that's the Dress Uniform, what's the daily work uniform?
  14. I knew a guy like that. Real jackass. He'd try to get to his wife's favorite bar before she did just so that she couldn't come in there. After she left, he'd leave.
  15. I used to get to work at 5:30 in the morning. Route my deliveries, load my truck, etc. Some days we'd get that done about 7:30 or 8:00. Take about a 15 minute break before taking off to make the deliveries. Then the boss would come in, see us sitting there, and give us a "You've been here since 5:30. Why are you still here?"
  16. Could have been worse: They could have called them "Space Rangers".
  17. WHAT?!?! Next thing you'll be telling me that reality shows aren't real. Or that Wrassling is fake.
  18. It doesn't work. The best thing I ever did about it was to get up early enough that a hangover hadn't hit yet, and keep on drinking, slowing down as the day goes on. That's the weekend solution. Going to work was to down about 4 Extra Strength Tylenol. Of course the last time I did THAT was the same day they started reporting about that woman that poisoned her husband with some. I heard that and just thought "Oh well, if I die it will hurt less."
  19. Truck Stops still have a Rand McNally Large Scale road atlas. It's 35% larger than your average atlas, and is spiral bound so that it lays flat. As a "bonus" it has a large section in the back that shows mileage between many cities and towns so that you can figure travel time. They're more expensive, but I think that it's worth it.
  20. "We Snickered At the Space Force Uniform" Apparently they snickered at Patton's uniform too, since they never adopted it.
  21. That wouldn't surprise me at all. On the other hand, when I saw Spooky, Ithought
