Grafs HAD Remington no 10s

As of 5:00 pm email notification, Graf has Remington no 10 caps. I bought 5,000 more, and that should take me to the end of my Cap n Ball days - and the end of Cowboy shooting all together!

Thanks Dan. I shoot about 1,000 rounds per year, and with retirement coming, maybe I'll get to 2,000 per year. I've got 20,000 caps and 100 lbs of Goex - and I realize that with future distractions (aka grandchildren) and Age, that there comes a time to move on to the next adventure.  Nothing to be sad about - life is full of new adventures. I'll start mine around 2036.  I wonder if the targets will be closer and bigger by then ?! (sarcasm added by the author for humor)

Grafs is on our way to grocery store.  It's been several years now, I stopped in at their retail store and they had Remington #10s at what I consider scalpers price,  $13/100. I passed. I still have about 2k of mostly CCI, RWS and Remington #10. At the rate I'm shooting,  that will probably do me.

The last time I found caps I paid $27 for 100...otherwise I wasn't shooting.  $13 per 100 I'd pay all day

$13 is about the going rate these days. Bass Pro had 'em awhile back for that, I bought some. Shoot or not to shoot? That is the question 🤔

The good news is that they are being made again.  Grafs has probably filled there back orders with their wholesale customers so some should show up in stores.

T-Square: Thanks for popping this up on the wire.  I passed up on an order of 5k Rem 10 caps from Grafs in late 2019 or early 2020.  It's been so long I can't remember.  Then the pandemic happened followed by a couple of wars.  I'll leave the politics alone.  But the C&B shooters have been left in the wind for a while.  I wasn't taking that chance again.  If I thought about the money I spent on hobbies, then I wouldn't have a high-stress job to cover my expenses, and I'd never leave my basement.  Thanks again T-Square.  Thank you, Remington, if you are watching.
