Not my gun.

The title of the thread I stole this picture from was CUSTOMIZED SINGLE SIX

When I first looked at it I did not realize that it was lying on a picture of a flamingo. Because I was looking at the gun, not the background.

So I read that title about "customized", and I thought, "yeah, that is customized. But how in the hell do you cock it with that flamingo beak on the end of the hammer spur?" I mean really, unless it's offset, it's going to hit the grip frame and you won't be able to pull the hammer back.

Ain't that a pretty gun though? No aluminum. Steel grip frame, steel ejector rod housing, steel rear sight. Real color case hardened frame. Real stag grips. And a lanyard ring.

Can't argue with you about that.

I like it! I would like one in .357 Magnum

Some of the backgrounds people choose for posting gun photos baffle me. Be they for sale or just display.
The worst is a guy on GB that posts guns on a black velvet background. A blued gun disappears, especially with the crappy lounge lighting. I think he thinks it’s cool…or it helps hide defects.

Just like meat in a store, the best side is always the side up.

For the picture. Nice looking S6 with the case coloring and all. The flamingo gives it a tropical look and the ejector rod housing retaining screw looks loose. Ole'

How about the people selling cars that take pictures in shadow, out of focus. Or from across a parking lot.

It used to be that I would contact the seller and ask for better images. Nearly every time I got resistance and sometimes even snotty remarks back.
Now, I don’t even bother. I move on. If someone is too stupid or crooked to take a decent photo of something they want to sell they don’t need my money and I don’t need their crap.

Or you post decent photos and descriptions and somebody wants more info or particular pictures, which I always accommodate, and ya never hear from them again. The least they could do is acknowledge that they got what they requested.
