Well, it’s obvious they like dresses.

That’s all I got…

Those are ceremonial robes, not dresses.

Swords are involved as well!  Never knew, you can be recommended by friends, but you have to make a formal request for membership.  Or so the friend told me.  No, but I thanked him.  Frat in College told me about myself.

My statement was meant as humor.

I've seen a lot of photographs in the newspaper of installations.

Never seen a king or a high priest though.

These men in the picture are not dressed for a Masonic ceremony.

The only Mason in Lodge with a sword is the Tiler (guardian at the entry door) and it's strictly ceremonial.

Masons are not supposed to ask someone if they want to become a Mason. The potential candidate is supposed to ask about the craft, then they can start the process. My Dad was a Mason and Master of his Lodge and he never asked me to be a Mason, I asked one of his friends (who was a Mason) what it was all about. I opened the door and I started my journey.

Definitely not!  I don't recall exactly what that was for, I think it was something for Bright Monday.  But we were "wearing dresses."

He didn't ask me if I wanted to join, I can't recall the conversation many years back in time, but it was not an obvious one.
