Funky numbers in emails.

I have been emailing a company that I bought Christmas gifts from due to a snagu on their part. At the end of the verbiage on their emails there is a weird series of numbers that look like this: �1�79�1�71�1�79�1�71�1�79�1�70

OR

�9�1�0�7

 

Does anyone know why this is or what this is?

Usually it means that the email immediately goes to the Blocked list.

Can we ask what company this is?? It sure looks strange!

It’s a legitimate company. 
I did ask them why these numbers appeared this way. They are email routing numbers for their internal system, apparently. When the email chain grows from back and forth  the system does that to nullify the tracking in their system.
