Tex Jones, SASS 2263
The incidents described could be due to a problem with the pistol, or not. Not any information about how the weapon discharges. One would think that an engineer or two would opine on the mechanism and why it is defective. Didn't SIG have problems with the 320 unintentionally firing, which were resolved?
Sedalia Dave
This sound a lot like the Remington 700 ADs that Remington insisted was operator error for years decades.
Dutch Nichols, SASS #6461
Tex those issues were with the first 50K delivered to the Army, MANY further instances have come forth!! Minneapolis (SP) PD is wanting SIG to take them all back and they are going Glock G45!! They had an instance where one fired while holstered !! Can't blame Op error on that !! As stated there are hundreds of instances of SIGs guns going off and SIG tried to blame ALL on Op error.
Pat Riot, SASS #13748
The problem with Sig 320’s firing on their own was solved for me. I bought a Glock 34 instead. Thankfully an ethical gun store clerk told me about the Sig issue.
