Chili Pepper Pete 11917 Posted June 3, 2022 Share Posted June 3, 2022 For anyone coming to the Indiana State Shoot.....There will be a 3 stage Plainsman match on Friday at 10:00 am. There will be 3 categories for men and women; Modern, Traditional, and Cartridge for those without cap and ball revolvers. We will also allow adjustable sight cap and ball revolvers if you don't have fixed sights. Come and shoot some of those guns just sitting in your safe!!! It will be a good time for all!! See ya then. The rifle may have spring actuated ejectors if they are standard for that rifle. .38 Special is legal. - Must use a side by side or single shot shotgun, with or without exposed hammers, or a lever action shotgun. - Must use blackpowder in all loads (rifle, revolver, and shotgun). Sgt. Hochbauer, SASS #64409 Posted June 6, 2022 Share Posted June 6, 2022 I shot it at EOT 2021 never heard of it before then. I used a borrowed 38-55 rifle from a friend. It was too much fun if that is possible. Just got a trapdoor carbine last week. Unfortunately I cannot make it to the match. But I will be ready for next time.
