Rip Snorter Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 Regret selling mine - a smoooth bolt stroke!
Trigger Mike Posted February 11, 2022 Author Posted February 11, 2022 Yes, indeed. Hate selling it, but I now realize my children, except for my youngest son, don't care about older guns and may be a while before they have the maturity to take care of things. My 18 year old running out into the night at 1130 to sponge off her friends and not come back just reinforced that in my mind.
CarbineCasey #4469 Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 That is very nice the Krag rifle I have has been customized and I love it so much.
Snakejaw_Joe Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 Do serial numbers match? How is the bore/rifling?
Trigger Mike Posted February 12, 2022 Author Posted February 12, 2022 Only markings are there is a letter E on the bolt handle and a U on the sling swivel and VFW on the stock so.it must have been a drill rifle at the VFW at one point which explains the fouling in the barrel. There is some shine in the barrel but some pitting as well. I fired it a couple of years ago and it hit the target at 100 yards. The bayonet is often a couple of hundred dollars so that is part of why the price is where it is.
Trigger Mike Posted February 13, 2022 Author Posted February 13, 2022 Shipping is high these days as is insurance, but if you want to make an offer, you are welcome to
Trigger Mike Posted February 14, 2022 Author Posted February 14, 2022 Really want this one gone so I can do 900 shipped and insured

Trigger Mike Posted February 15, 2022 Author Posted February 15, 2022 One last trip before selling it elsewhere

Rafe Conager SASS #56958 Posted February 16, 2022 Posted February 16, 2022 Mike, you might do better by putting this on the wildbunch wire! Lots of folks shoot bamm and Sgt York or buckey o'niel matches would jump on this rifle. Rafe
