Does you rifle have a light round barrel or is it full octagon?   A light round barrel may not have enough meat to reline.

This is how much of the barrel was left with the 38WCF liner installed. You can see the liner in the dovetail cut.

There'll be more steel in the OP's 32-20 barrel than in your .38-40 barrel.....

redmansrifling.com   Website lists reclining a 32-20 for $375.  As others have said, I’ve heard good things about their work.

I had an original 1892, 32-20, done by these folks about 5 years ago. They did a fantastic job! They are busy so expect to wait about 3-4 months until you get it back, but it's well worth the wait.
