Bailey Creek,5759 Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 I have a Marlin 94 in 32-20 . I would like to put a new liner in it. Can anyone recommend someone ?
Warden Callaway Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 I got a 38WCF liner for my 1894 project gun from T. J. Enterprises.
Bailey Creek,5759 Posted October 15, 2021 Author Posted October 15, 2021 Looks good. I also need someone who can do the job . I am not setup for something like that .
Garrison Joe, SASS #60708 Posted October 16, 2021 Posted October 16, 2021 Randy Redman of Omak Washington both makes and installs 32-20 liners in Marlins. Find his pricing here: https://redmansrifling.com/gun-barrel-relining/ Highly renowned, by the way. GJ
Warden Callaway Posted October 16, 2021 Posted October 16, 2021 Does you rifle have a light round barrel or is it full octagon? A light round barrel may not have enough meat to reline. This is how much of the barrel was left with the 38WCF liner installed. You can see the liner in the dovetail cut.
Garrison Joe, SASS #60708 Posted October 16, 2021 Posted October 16, 2021 There'll be more steel in the OP's 32-20 barrel than in your .38-40 barrel..... good luck, GJ
Cypress Sam, SASS #10915 Posted October 16, 2021 Posted October 16, 2021 redmansrifling.com Website lists reclining a 32-20 for $375. As others have said, I’ve heard good things about their work.

They are busy so expect to wait about 3-4 months until you get it back, but it's well worth the wait.
