RIchard Prique turned into Dicky..well you can guess how they pronounced Prique. Many of the name were ethnic and when translated would cause a laugh, Mr Bread (houska), there was a Honeywagon - I use honey not the actual rude translation, Ms Papuga (parrot), Mr Paska (this would be scheisse in German), Another I got a kick out of was Richard Fucqua (pronounced FU-Kwa) - Poor kid was constantly teased of the mispronunciation of that name. Ms Kozak (goat) - with the third generation most of the translations of these names will be forgotten and just become equivalent to Smith and Brown.
