Blackwater 53393
Any ELP will do, so long as it ain’t Lucky Man!
Pat Riot
My first new album was ELP’s first LP release. Loved every song on it, especially “Lucky Man”. I was 9 years old. My friends all thought I would end up a dope smokin’ hippie...they were half right.
Calamity Kris
I too am an ELP fan. I wish they could have kept it together. Greg Lake did some fabulous solo work. I was also looking forward to an eventual collaboration between Keith Emerson and Rick Wakeman. Alas, it will never be.
Injun Ryder, SASS #36201L
ELP fan also. Started with them with my 8 track stereo back in 1970! Looked like a modern concert - no fans allowed in the arena!
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
Who is ELP?
Blackwater 53393
Emerson Lake and Palmer, a rock and roll band from Great Britain. The were the first major band to use the Moog Synthesizer in their recordings and live appearances. They were also heavily into arrangement and orchestration. Their lyrics were thought provoking!
