Any ELP will do, so long as it ain’t Lucky Man!

My first new album was ELP’s first LP release. Loved every song on it, especially “Lucky Man”.
I was 9 years old. My friends all thought I would end up a dope smokin’ hippie...they were half right.

I too am an ELP fan.  I wish they could have kept it together.  Greg Lake did some fabulous solo work.  I was also looking forward to an eventual collaboration between Keith Emerson and Rick Wakeman.  Alas, it will never be.

Emerson Lake and Palmer, a rock and roll band from Great Britain. The were the first major band to use the Moog Synthesizer in their recordings and live appearances.

They were also heavily into arrangement and orchestration.  Their lyrics were thought provoking!
