Buckshot Sheridan
Desert Ironwood Burl. I believe there are 2 sets of grips in here. I just need to work out how I’m going to extricate them. Pretty sure my milking machine and some carbide end mills will be involved.

Garrison Joe, SASS #60708
I'd love to see a milking machine at work on that, but I assume you are talking about a mill. Here's hoping you find solid wood without hidden defects. Good luck, GJ
twelve mile REB
Fill the defects with epoxy mixed with sawdust from the cuts or not. Lots of burl wood need fillers. Lots of help on youtube.
Muleshoe Bill SASS #67022
Since you are in the area of some of the finest turquoise mines... see if you can get some turquoise spoils and crush that up mix with epoxy to fill any checks or voids. I know.. it has been done before, but the one small pepper mill and salt shaker I saw made of that wood had that treatment and it was stunning.
