For something like 20 years she had a spy working for her.  Her husband's company has many close ties with China.  I'm of the opinion that she was the control officer.

Oh, yeah, Lady Diane... who was for many years one of only a handful of people in San Francisco to have a CCW.  She thought the "New World Liberation Front" was out to get her.
