Gunner Gatlin, SASS 10274L Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Thanks to Outlaw Gambler (and his patience with me getting payment to him) for providing a smooth solid-frame Winchester '97 born in 1913. He cut the barrel down to 18.5" and put a nice bead on it.
Widder, SASS #59054 Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Howdy JEDI Gunner. The '97's are fun. Hope you have many years of shooting enjoyment with it. ..........Widder
Krazy Kajun Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Yep, now you only need to add 2 more to your collection so that you'll have the complete required set Kajun
The Original Lumpy Gritz Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 Got my CB-97 from Outlaw Gambler. He is fantastic to deal with, he shorten the stock and added a recoil pad for a very fair price. You'll love your 97. OLG
Chickasaw Bill SASS #70001 Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 97s be like potato chips , ya can't have just one CB

Sheriff Langston Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 I have the good fortune to own and use a 97 born in 1913. Tuned up by Curly Bill here in Tennessee Simply put, there is no substitute. Superb shotgun. Have fun! Sheriff Langston.
