The character who serves as more or less the Gunnery Sargent totes a multibarreled carbine. What is it? i have read some of the Sharpe series books long ago. Thanks Crayfish Bernard Cornwell has written a few other series apart from Sharpe and they are worth a go (there is a Civil War series, Arthur and a Vikings and Saxons).
