Ace_of_Hearts
It probably would help if you included information such as the Caliber.

Tennessee Jack
I'm very interested. Who did the short stroke job? Is it slicked up any other ways? Firing pin, trigger, etc? bottom line - What else needs to be done to have it race ready? thx, TJ

Spur was a renowned shooter who developed the short stroke for the Marlin.. Deuce Stevens has set world records With his rifles and is a personal friend (as am I) of Spur.. Shooters all over the United States has his rifles.. Most won't part with them.. My wife has 2 SS Marlins that Spur did for her.. He lives in central Illinois and retired from short stroking rifles a few years back.. He then taught his trade to Cowboy Carty.. who now is renowned for doing the "Spur Short Stroke" to JM Marlins.. He has a waiting list.. This rifle is "set up" per say.. IT IS RACE READY!! You won't outrun it.. Rance Thinkin' Spur now has a sign out "Gone Fishing"
