Del Rio Pete Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 Is this gun SASS legal? lol Thought I might be able to win a Buckle or Trophy with this. Or, maybe this would work against swarming drones??? That would be a whopping ammo bill. Quote

Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172 Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 I'v got a 12 gauge that will do most of that. Quote
Noz Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 That would be kinda like trying to spot for Missouri Lefty. Quote
Forty Rod SASS 3935 Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 Supplying ammo to keep that thing running will be an impossible task. Quote
Del Rio Pete Posted January 14, 2017 Author Posted January 14, 2017 (edited) That would be kinda like trying to spot for Missouri Lefty.Very funny and proves how much he is admired and appreciated. Missouri Lefty has it all...brains, looks, great attitude, hard working, talented, likeable, kind, big smile, and SASS Champion. Great to see him doing so well. We are all proud of him, aren't we? Pat Riot Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 Read up on "metal storm". The articles use words like "was", "had" and "used". Metal Storm, the company, isn't around any longer, but the technology is now owned by DefendTex of Australia. Quote
Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 Did they actually demonstrate loading it? Quote
Pat Riot Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 Funny you should mention that Marshal. In all the videos that I saw, "No". Also, I love that they say it can fire a bazillion rounds a minute but it's obvious that the barrels only hold maybe 10-20 rounds. Quote

Bazillion is the cyclic rate, if it did not have to stop to be reloaded. Loading looks to be a fancy operation, not something done by a grunt Quote
