So . . . I just thunk . . that i'd mozy over to GUNBROKER . . . just to have a look . . .

. . . not gonna buy anthing . . . just look . .

What ? . . . does this sound familiar to ya . . . ?

Anyhoooo...... I purchased an original '73 breech block with firing pin and an original lever that lifts the carrier. Good prices. Even if the breechblock needs repair it is still a good price. (photo was not very clear ). So happy that I went over and looked. ;) When I was repairing the breech block in my original '73 I had a look around at the folks offering replacement parts and no one is making a replacement breechblock. So happy to now have one in my parts supply. :)

Moral of this . . . ? Don't do looking with out money that you can spend :)

Yup, prob'ly mosied more than I should've. Keep endin' up with "1868 Morehand & Farnsworth .37 Rimfire Revolver, 92% nickel" or some such. "Hey, I don't have one a them! And it's only $xxx !" Then I start lookin' for .37 rimfire ammo.... And cleaning tools, like I'm gonna find ammo to fire... Like it'll ever fire anyway... But none of my buddies have one!! (Could it be they're smarter? Nah...)

Do learn a lot about firearms history, though. That's my justification for moseying in the first place.

Last spring I was screwing around on E-Bay on night and 4 weeks later an Indian Motorcycle showed up at my house, da Jameson made me do it!

I go to Gunbroker, e-bay, craigs list all the time, I'm not a member so I can't buy anything, when the urge hits to register, I hit the big red X, that has helped me out anyway

All for now JD Trampas

P.S. Sorry to say I have missed some deals but I can live with it
