I would say balance is more important than exact length. If you have a long or short LOP take that into consideration.

I know Hendo just bought one and it was race ready right out of the box. The action was impressive. The only thing he did to make it even better was bevel the cones for smoother loading.

The lightning, having a smaller, lighter frame, shouldn't be subjected to 357 pressures. I've never tried but I'm guessing you can't fit it in the cylinder as is. Curiosity may get me to check. CC I answered your pm. See you there.
