There were hundreds of scooters similar to this one on the roads as delivery vehicles. Most though had the cargo area enclosed. Edited January 18 by Sedalia Dave Quote

Back in 1972, I was working as a replacement worker for the old Opryland theme park when the labor crews went on strike. We took their places and finished the construction. Because I was there and knew the park, I was promoted to night foreman on the janitorial crew. My transportation around the park was a Cushman three wheeled dump truck. That thing would pull the most enormous wheel stands you can imagine! It was all fun and games ‘til the park rangers caught me. My boss took the Cushman and put me on a damned Honda Trail 70! That hateful thing was lousy on takeoff and a whole lot less fun inside the park, but it’d run fas enough to be dangerous on the service roads. I’d still commandeer a Cushman any time I got the chance. 2 Quote

The dump body was loaded with brass sprinkler heads. It was hard to keep that front wheel on the ground!!! After I got caught!, no more cushman. Then got to follow on foot a greens mower. 1 1 Quote
