I was taking my dog to the vet when I noticed the northern skies.  Our skies are sometimes a truly wonderful blue that I have never seen anywhere else in all my travels.  Still true today, but the clouds were new: a furrowed look as if someone had spread them with a rake, evenly spaced like newly plowed field

When I came out a half hour later the clouds in the southwest sky were in fairly even squares, like a flat cake, and the clouds due west  due west were "angel hair" cirrus formations.  Beautiful and so dainty (not a word I often use) that they earned the description.

I stopped at the library and when I came out there was a crowd pointing north west at formation that looked like a stack of quarter moon slices all in a row with the open ends facing almost due east and the back of the arches pointing south west.

All this in the course of two hours or maybe a bit more...and the sky never changed its hue.

There were seven or eight contrails cutting across the sky. too.  Not a plane in sight.

Spectacular has a whole new meaning and I'd like to know what could cause this spectacle...or spectacles

Now I'll wait for our next "rose moon" where a full moon is a beautiful rose pink and bright enough to read under.

I SURE DO LOVE CENTRAL ARIZONA!

Eat your heart out Montana.

BTW, I have three favorite places to see sunsets: Sunset, Utah north of Salt Lake City and east of the lake, El Paso, Texas, and Okinawa after a monsoon blows by.  That salt water in both  Utah and Okinawa does something to pour the entire spectrum into the western skies and light it up.

I can't explain Texas, but then, I never could.

I never even thought to take any.  Sorry.  Maybe today they'll be back.

The skies were almost clear by 4:00 pm and I noticed there were still planes in the sky, but only one con trail.  Makes me think the atmospheric temperatures were involved in the whole show.  I'll be going out later this morning, but right now it's still as dark as the inside of goat out there.

Recuperating. She had two teeth pulled, one was abscessed and infected and took some surgery to clean it out and patch it up.

She is one a special diet now and not at all happy about Daddy forcing two pills down her throat twice a day.

She's sleeping a lot...which I'm told is expected... and can't go outside alone because she can't eat anything in the yard.

And I've bought a number of cars for what this whole thing cost me.  On the other hand, she's worth it and more.

Thanks for asking.  I'll tell her you asked when she wakes up.

Brother, I have a whole life time of wonderful things that I didn't deserve,  God's been mighty good to me.

She just walked  in and wants to go outside.  Later.

Thanks.

I took her back today.  She was having some difficulties.  On the way to the doctor's I got stopped by a lady cop for 45 in a 30 zone.  She asked if I had some sort od emegency and I told her where I was going and why.  She went back to her car and came back with a warning ticket.

Six hours later she called to see how Trinket was doing.  I really like Arizona LEOs.  Not at all like we ran into in that unnamed state west of here where I lived for 37 years.

Hope the pup’s doing better.

I doubt that the lady cop was really concerned with your dog. I think more’n likely she just “craves your bod”!  🤣
