Blackwater 53393
What the title says!! As many of you know, I’ve been fighting some serious issues with foot trouble. I’ve had to have multiple surgeries on my left foot and now I have to wear a special brace/orthotic apparatus to protect and correct the problems that caused all the surgery. Finding companies/people who can provide me with what I need has been a challenge to say the least! There are a few outfits that can do the work and they are, for the most part, very expensive and have a year or longer wait time. One of my cowboy pards put me onto SodHoppers! I called the guy and left a message and he called me back in a couple of hours. We talked at length and he steered me to his website and asked me to look it over carefully. He has a wait time of three to five weeks and is very straightforward and helpful. My insurance company will pay for at least half of the cost and maybe more and he’s willing to work with them as well! I’d just like to hear from anyone who has bought and worn these and their opinions and thoughts on service, quality, and comfort!!
Pat Riot
Wow! Some neat stuff on their website. I truly hope you find footwear that is comfortable and lasts. I know what a pain it is to find what will work in regards to shoes, boots and other footwear.

Blackwater 53393
I hope nobody minds if I run this back up to the top in anticipation of more weekend traffic on the wire. I really would like to have more input on these! They seem to be the same type of boot/moccasin that Earth Walkers used to produce. I’v been informed that Earth Walkers is no longer making custom boots, if they’re even still in business! Y’all help me out!! Larsen E. Pettifogger, SASS #32933
Unfortunately comfort is something only your own feet can tell you about. I bought some Earth Walkers years ago and unfortunately for me they were the most uncomfortable footware I have ever owned. Most people loved them but for me they just did not do the trick.

I’m still mad about the Earthwalkers my late wife bought for me. He took the molds of my feet himself. Once they arrived they were so small I couldn’t get them on. After sending them back three times, he refused to fix them. 1
Sedalia Dave
From the website those look exactly like the ones my late wife had. She loved them and danced in them at more pow Wows than I can count. After her death I gifted them to one of her girlfriends and she is still Pow Wow dances in them. I should point out she had them made 25 or 30 years ago.
