Anyone have a short stroke kit for a Miroku Winchester ‘73 .357 mag.

I have a Miroku in 44-40 and am happy and OK with it "half-stroked" from the factory (so not NCOWS legal). I sat down and watched the first spaghetti western while cycling it, still need to do the same for the other two movies to finish break in.

From, not form. Otto has no sense of context

You might try Cowboy Carty at Western Gun Works.  He has done some short strokes for the Mirokus and may have a line on parts, although he may alter the original parts as, I think, there are no short stroke kits available.

There are two link and lifter arm kits from Winchester. The standard length and then the short strokes that are in all of their Competition Carbines and rifles. I don't count the ill fated attempt at kits by a supplier that I will not name but those had to be used with their proprietary carrier and were hot garbage IMO. Cowboy Carty has done more Mirokus than anyone else in the world. A call or email to him might be the way to go.

Thanks Duece. I’m looking for the factory short stroke kit. My 73 is the standard length and I’d like to keep the rifle in factory condition. I don’t want to have a cut and weld job. I have nothing against them as my Uberti 73 has a Cody mod and it works great. I’ll keep looking.
