Alpo
That "ghost gun" sure looks like a Glock, all the way down to the little metal plate on the bottom of the receiver in front of the trigger guard where the serial number is stamped.

They are not “Ghost Guns”. That is a leftist term. They are non-serialized guns. They are completely legal in non-Budding Communist states. They cannot be sold per Federal law. I call them “Glones” (Glock clones) And they do have a serial number plate right where a Glock would have one. If ir were a “Ghost Gun” one could never find it. I know exactly where my Glone is. My neighbor made two AR's. Perfectly legal as long as he doesn't sell them. If he does though, he has to put a serial number on it and him and the buyer go to a FFL and the buyer does a 4473. That's what he was told.

Is that the way it is, or did it change?

Subdeacon Joe
Santa Rosa Police and Sonoma County Sheriff's Dept. public information officers LOVE to call everything they can a "ghost gun" or "illegal assault rifle," even if the SN has been defaced or the "illegal" part of "assault rifle" is not changing out the flash hider for a muzzle break on an otherwise legal, CA compliant AR platform. But they almost never play up that the person is a felon who should not have even a piece of expended brass in his possession.

In the USSR they were called Political Officers - samey-same) that wash and rebrand the reports going out to the public. Other public entities do the same. It’s rampant in California and every big city in the U.S.
