Lawdog Dago Dom
Gun Registry final numbers reported… Where to from here… – Guns Save Life 3 Quote Link to comment
sassnetguy50
Screenshot from the twitter post referenced in the article. There were 68, 992 registered firearms owned by 29,357 Illinois residents but only 528 of the people claim to have ammunition for the firearms? Is this correct or were only specific types of rounds to be registered? 68,992/29,357 is 2.35 firearms per person 528/29,357 is ~1.8% of those residents are able to make their metal pieces go bang? Gungadin
So a 50 Cal needs disclosed but it isn't actually the size as a 12 gauge slug is bigger. It must be some secret combination of power and accuracy? The opposite of the one they use for the 223 :-) If we barrel the same gun in a slightly smaller 'equivalent' say 12 mm it is OK? The games people play.... Quote Link to comment

Gungadin
The NFA limit is 50 CAL. I don't know the details. There are larger muzzle loaders ... 54 Cal. Quote Link to comment

All pistols and rifles and shotguns are limited to 50 cal unless there is a sporting use exemption. Most 12ga and 20 ga get such an exemption. There are a few big game rifles that have exemptions as well. 1 Quote Link to comment
