I saw that this morning on another source.

 

I think that the changes made last year were good changes and eliminated the pitchers and (especially) the batters wasting time. I see the new changes as a good thing also.

 

However...

 

GET RID OF THE MAN ON SECOND IN EXTRA INNINGS AND ALLOW "THE SHIFT".

I’ll go along with getting rid of the Man On Second In Extra Innings rule, but the No Shift rule needs to stay for now.

I think this widening of the first and third baselines are going to cause more arguments, at least for the first year!

Yeah!  Did the runner touch ONE BLADE OF GRASS???

 

Of course, there was frequently an argument about the runner’s position anyway!

I'm not sure I like the change in the running lane.

 

I would like to see The Shift come back.   It seems to me it worked against the defense as often as it worked for it.

I'm not a sports fan, but I was not aware they had referees in baseball.

 

Thought they had umpires.
