Forty Rod SASS 3935
Just went out to my workshop and my yard is absolutely swarming with butterflies. Hundreds of them. I know nothing much about butterflies, but they sure are pretty.
Dusty Devil Dale
You're probably seeing a seasonal migration pulse. Some species live several years and fly thousands of miles back and forth between seasons.

Forty Rod SASS 3935
I went out to get some pics and by the time i got out there they were headed across my neighbor's yard going north east. I got four pictures of nothing identifiable. All I can tell you is they were mostly yellow with dark markings. I had no idea that butterflies migrated. Thanks. Dusty Devil Dale
Yellow and black like any of these? Almost all of those in the top photo are migratory to some extent. The second photo are more resident and solitary, but sometimes will swarm around favorite pollen sources.

Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474
I heard he uses tiny little whips. SPCB* is keeping an eye on him after the neighbours complained about their crying and screaming.. *Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Butterflies
