Dusty Devil Dale Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 I think I would be cautious putting a carefully machined brass, bronze or aluminum carrier block into a tumbler with ss pins. Given long enough or enough cleaning cycles, it WILL have corners rounded off and reduced dimensions that will alter its fit and travel in the receicer. Speaking as a jeweler, don't underestimate the amount of material that can rapidly be removed in a tumbler.
Lucky L Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 sonic clean...then to really get it "shiny"...Mothers Mag Wheel Polish and a few Q-tips with polish on them to get in the hard to reach areas...then polish!! takes all the black residue out...until you fire your first round! lol...but for us with OCD...that shiny carrier....it works!
