Impressive. I'd hate to be in the head, when this thing hit...or anywhere else onboard. Looks like you would not have enough time to use a cuss word before the ship was under the waves. That's okay, might as well not prolong it. 

 

Now all we need is a real President, that the dictatorships of China, and Russia, and North Korea, and the islamic terrorist nations will view as unpredictable enough for them to wonder if this will be used or not.  

They pretty much know, right now, that it won't be. 

 

As they say...or used to say: "peace through strength". Dictatorships only seem to respect strength, and vigilance...so, that's what we have to do.

Logical expansion of the GBU-53 SDB guidance package by adding active guidance to 500 through 2000 pound dumb bombs. 

 

The old JDAM was ineffective against moving targets as you had to guess where they would be when the munition arrived. With active guidance that is no longer a limitation.
