Low hammers for rodeo

If I remember correctly, USFA was offering a lowered hammer near the end of their production.  It would be a miracle if you were able to locate a pair of them.  Long Hunter offered his "tuned" Rodeos with them at one point.  I contacted him to see if I could purchase a pair of the lowered hammers for the Rodeos I had recently purchased from him.  Unfortunately, he didn't have any extras at the time.

A talented gunsmith such as Boomstick Jay could modify your current hammers, or as Tex mentioned, you might find a smith who could modify/fit Uberti or Pietta production lowered hammers to your pistols.  Regretfully, pistols from Italian companies, will require fitting for new parts for more often than Rugers.

Just a heads up. Any new lowered hammer you get for an Uberti 73 revolver is going to be the new safety style.

The Cimarron Thunderstorm hammers is what you're looking for. I installed a pair in my USFA's.

Will look at those.  A lot of fitting needed? Thanks

Beautiful! Will check that cost out. I like the engraving. Not as “busy” as some are. Can i borrow them for a few years? :)

Bombstick lowered the hammers on my pair of USFA Cowboys.  Just got them from him at EOT this year. Oh and they are 38-40s :D
