Alamosa Bill
I made some lube using 50% bees wax and 50% Lard as I’m in the UK it’s hard to get mutton tallow. Trouble is it’s too soft, what can I add to harden it up a bit as after I pan lube and take out the bullets it doesn’t always stick in the grooves? J-BAR #18287
Increase the % beeswax until you get the results you want, or the lube gets so hard that it doesn’t work. There are lots of lube recipes and I’m sure many will be listed here. Experimentation is fun! I used 50-50 beeswax/ Crisco successfully for 23 years. Prairie Dawg, SASS #50329
Lots of Indian folks in the UK Find a butcher who sells to this community, and you should find a source of fresh lamb. Lamb tallow should be available too —Dawg

Snake-eye, SASS#45097
Add some candle wax, paraffin, to stiffen it some.
Kid Rich
Check out Gatefeo's bp formula. He uses paraffin. Another good bp lube is 50-50 Lucas #2 red grease or black lithium grease mixed with bees wax. Both of those greases are synthetic and are ok for use with real bp. kR
