Tequila Shooter Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 Does anyone know who still carries the firing pin and extractor roll pins for a ‘94? Or does anyone know the size of the pins? I’d like to buy a couple of extras, just in case. Thanks.
The Original Lumpy Gritz Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 Don't recall the exact size. Last time I needed some, I just took the bolt with me to the hardware store. Buy extra.... OLG
Sedalia Dave Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 IIRC Not all Marlins have roll pins. Some have solid pins. Seems to remember that my wife's has solid pins. Given the choice I would prefer roll pins to solid pins. Never have to guess which way to drive them out.

I would normally buy them from Midwest Gun Works https://www.midwestgunworks.com/marlin-model-1894.html But, I see that they are sold out right now. However, Numrich is listing them as in stock. https://www.gunpartscorp.com/gun-manufacturer/marlinglenfield/1894-series/1894
Warden Callaway Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 I can usually drive out a pin just far enough to keep it in one side of the part I'm working on. I can't remember buying a pin. I just make one out of the shank of a drill bit.

The '94 extractor is held in place with a solid pin. The FP uses 2 roll pins. OLG
