Hashknife Cowboy Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Might any of you folks be in the neighborhood I highly recommend you find your way to the Ft Worth Stockyards and visit the John Wayne display put together by Ethan Wayne. It is well worth the price of admission ... God Bless all cowboys and cowgirls. https://www.johnwayne.com/experience
Jackson Haller Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Went to it last year in Vegas (when the NFR was in Vegas); really enjoyed it!
Uncle Ethan # 94321 Posted December 12, 2020 Posted December 12, 2020 If this is the same one that was in Nashville couple years ago, well worth your time.
Clay Thornton Posted December 12, 2020 Posted December 12, 2020 I would also like to throw out the John Wayne birthplace museum in Winterset Iowa. https://www.johnwaynebirthplace.museum/ Small but very well done, not to mention the home he was born in is right out back.
Cowtown Scout, SASS #53540 L Posted December 12, 2020 Posted December 12, 2020 Thanks I had no idea that was located in the stockyards. I will have to go check it out.

Yes it's a great little museum, we were there some years ago on the way to Gunsmoke, and we only found out about it at a Amish stop on the I35 in Iowa. We also did the Buddy Holly crash site too, not too far away.
