John Kloehr
Yesterday, I got a text. It says it was the 3rd notice (never got 1st or 2nd). If I did not claim my gift from Amazon+Prime b4 [sic] 6PM, I would lose it. the link to claim the prize is to some Wordpress site somewhere in the world. I looked at what I could find out about the link and site without going there, just for fun. That is how I know the site is Wordpress (easier to hack than windows). Well, it is now a day too late and I suspect I am better off not clicking the link. But sometimes I wonder if I am just being paranoid...
Pat Riot
Looked up Mrs Ndoi Found this site with lots of email scams...scroll down to “dying persons”. Hilarious stuff. https://antifraudintl.org/threads/julianna-stefan-ndoi.137103/
Badlands Bob #61228
I get several of these emails a week. I enjoy going into the email and pulling out the IP address from the message heading. I then use an IP locator which gives me the general location. They may say they are from Amazon, Ebay or some bank but they originate from either the UCLA library or Eastern Europe. I haven't had any from Nigeria in quite a while.
bgavin
This ranks right up there with the call from "Microsoft" with a heavy African accent... saying your computer has a problem, and to let them fix it.
