Along with a new knife, I got my new grips for the King Cobra. Very pretty. From Altamont. Took a few weeks but worth it I think.

Not a lot of companies seem to be making them for the new gun.

When you shoot it with the new grips please let us know how they are compared to the originals! ;)

I fully expect them to have a stout recoil to them. Especially with .357. But I don’t routinely shoot a lot of full house loads.

That’s what I’m thinking, rubber grips always absorb the recoil better but them woods look mighty purty!

That’s why I always used Hougue’s or Pachmayrs on my duty revolvers. Shooting two or three 50 round qualification courses in an hour could get a bit...uncomfortable. Especially as I got older and less studly. ;)

Beautiful American made grips by Altamont. I have Altamont grips on my Vaqueros.

Your 3 finger grip just became a 2 finger grip, in the front. Not sure I would like that.

In truth although it looks like a 3 finger grip on the original, it doesn’t feel like it.
