Attention 45-60 shooters ---- BRASS AVAILABLE!!!!!

Why not just use .40-65 Star-line brass ,,, It's way cheaper ...

Because the OP wants .45-60. :P-----:lol:

Starline doesn't make that caliber(.45-60). ;)

My post was in answer to a Post by Bittertrigger , on forming 38-56 cases , I included a Quote from his post about same in my reply....

As for 45-60 why not just shorten .45-70 brass .... .40-65 brass can also be formed from .45-70 brass with a single pass threw your resize die ...

Two reasons not to just shorten 45-70 brass. First is because the brass tends to be thicker the further away from the neck you get. Do trimming to 45-60 size will give you thicker necks than you might want. And second, for someone like me that has quite a few 45-70 rifles and CRS memory issues, it’s just asking for mixed up rounds.
