Any PRS (or similar) shooter's?

Looks interesting.

 

We don't have a club in the immediate area and I don't know that I have the time to participate in another venue if we did.

 

I looked at F-Class several years ago but couldn't get interested in the paper-punching for minute groups.

 

I've got a couple of co-workers,  we have access to a 1,000 yard range with some reactive targets, and we all get every other Monday off. 

 

Was looking to pick up the Ruger Precision Rifle and a new Bushnell Elite Tactical DMR II Pro 3.5-21x50mm Scope (I can get it at a significant discount from MSRP).

 

So, does anybody else shoot the series?  What do you use/see used?

PRS looks interesting to me but I don’t have the opportunity to participate in my area. Maybe someday.

The closest range I can find to me that shows activity is 150 miles.

 

I may ride over if I have an open weekend when they are shooting and observe.

 

I just don't have many weekends that are open.

The 1,ooo yd range here is about 45 minutes from me.

Just saw an old friend last Thursday on my way to a cowboy affair.   Has a Ruger PR in 6.5 Creedmoor, says is a very good rifle.   But loves his Sako PR also in 6.5 Creedmoor.   Do not know about others but his shoots.   GW

I don't do the PRS thing but do love some F Class. I was fortunate enough to win our 1000 yard match in F/TR las Sunday. I also have a 6.5 Creedmore that shoots lights out but have not used it in competition.  1st image is the 1000 yard range. Black arrow above target area. 2nd image is my F/TR rifle in 308. 3rd image is my Christensen Arms MPR in 6.5 Creedmore and last image is a 5 shot group from it.
