A friend has the .22 TCM 1911 pistol and likes it, although he hasn't shot it a lot. There are even a couple YouTube videos discussing reloading for it. Boulder Canyon Bob# 32052L Posted November 1, 2017 Share Posted November 1, 2017 I've had a Rock Island 1911 in 22TCM for several years and just won a rifle last month. They are a hoot to shoot. They claim 2800 fps out of the rifle. There seems to be some variance in their accuracy and I haven't shot enough yet to verify that. I've got brass and dies and look forward to getting a suppressor on it for the local prairie dogs. You can use the 17 round magazine from the pistol in the rifle for extended fun.
